Second, you make said husband drive you to Blockbuster to return the DVDs that were rented, to the library to take back the few books that you managed to read in the past three weeks, then over to Target to look for that blasted game - Boggle. (Neither Target or ToysRUs had that game. I'm bitter.)
Third, while at Target, allow your wonderful husband to talk you into purchasing a padfolio from the fantastic Liberty of London collection even though there is absolutely NO pink on the padfolio. Wait...you've got Sharpie markers at home and you AREN'T afraid to use them.
Fourth, take a picture of the front of said padfolio when you get home.
Sixth, sit back and admire your quick thinking and hard work. It only took two episodes of Smallville, and the entire Beauty and the Briefcase movie to finish the back. Now I just have to color in the front.
What do you think? should I have colored, or left it the boring original black and white?

Oh that's pretty. I don't have enough patience to finish those things. Same with jigsaw puzzles . . . unless they contain less than 100 pieces. :)
@ Stina....me either - normally. It just was one of those days where I couldn't focus on anything else, but I couldn't NOT focus on using my pretty Sharpies.
i love it coloured!
I think it's fantastic. You know, I have a framed book plate on my wall that is hand-tinted. That's the same thing. Somebody colored a B&W illustration in a book with colored pencils. Just call it "hand-tinted" and then no one will ever say you shouldn't have done it!
OK, this is really cool. But *I* am so out of it I don't know what a padfolio is:[
I love it colored too. I thought you were only going to use one color, and I would have liked that too, but you did a beautiful job. Now what are you gonna do with it?
@ Darlyn & Carin...thanks, girls! Carin...I never even thought to call it "hand-tinted", but I will be now! LOL
@ Lori...a padfolio is just a "folio" that holds a full-size legal pad. Nothing special. i didn't even know that's what it was called until I read the writing on the back. go figure. they just gotta make it sound so new and exotic. haha
@ Alicia...I'm gonna USE it now, of course. It was just too boring in plain black and white.
Love your color. My sister's a genius.
Say, how about that glorified clip board!
