It's Monday, What are You Reading? (8)

What are you reading on Mondays? is a meme hosted by Sheila. This is our opportunity as bloggers to share what we've read in the past week and what we plan on reading this week. If you'd like to join in (it's really fun), go to One Persons Journey Through a World Of Books and add your name to the list.

I actually visited the library on Sunday (2/28) for new books for this week. I figured there was no better time to start saving money on books than the present. Especially since I purchased four books on Saturday. Joseph and I finally found Naruto Vol. 44 at the Borders in the mall. I also bought Broken and two Gundam 00 manga for Joseph while we were there.

So, wish me luck this week cause it's been quite some time since I read actual "adult" books and I'm determined to read two and two good-sized YA books this week. BTW, what did YOU read this past week?

I hate to admit, but I don't know very many of your books. Prophecy of the Sisters is on my to-read list though. Enjoy your reading this week!

I have some library books in my selections this week, too! Between the library and the TBR stacks, I won't have to buy any books for a LONG time (but I probably will!).

The Trixie Belden books ring the memory bell for me! I remember loving them!

I've never read any manga but have known a lot who do. I hope books you're reading this week. Wonder if you're going to write a review on Broken by Shiloh Walker?

Hannah said...

@Shy...I don't know that I'll post a review on Broken here on my blog, but I may write one up and email it to anyone interested in my opinion.

I think you will really like Maximum Ride. i have read the whole series and the first on the Angel Experiment is the best, but the all were exciting in their own way. Have a great week reading.

@ Jennifer G., April, and Katrina...I have been looking at Prophecy of the Sisters in the bookstores and on blogs since the beginning of this year so when I saw it in the library yesterday I just HAD to pick it up. Can't wait to read it!
@ Creations by Laurel-Rain Snow...Trixie Belden and Judy Bolton were always my very favorite reads growing up and I've been collecting them for years. I finally got my hands on a number of the T.B. series this year so I now have books 1-8 straight through. So glad cause I've been collecting for forever!
@ Jan...I've wanted to read Maximum Ride for some time, but always had other books that I wanted to read more, then I purchased the two M.R. graphic novels last month and fell in love. Now, if I could just figure out how the M.R. series works. I can never seem to find series numbers on the books. I don't want to read them out of order!
@ Becky...thanks so much for following! I'm hoping to write a post completely about the manga I've been reading so hopefully that will explain some of my reads better.

@ Lydia...what manga do you read? and I'm headed to your blog now to see which Ted Dekker book you're reading.

Haha! Another pile of Naruto manga. That's great! Why i've never include that in my list? should get doing the same like you did! ;p

enjoy your week, hannah!

Your books sound good even though I have never heard of them. I am a new blogger and found this by accident but so glad I did. It is very interesting to stop by each blog and look at the reading list. The only bad thing is my TBR list is getting huge, lol. Have a great reading week!

You must read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies!

I have never read a Manga, you read the Zombies and I will try a Manga. Deal?

Hannah said...

@Darlyn...You should totally try manga. It's a whole new reading experience.
